Witnessing is a great
privilege and a great responsibility for the Christian. One of the last
things Jesus said is that we would be his witnesses. (Acts 1.8)
However, study after study shows that most Christians never share their
faith. And that is sad because the world today is hungry for something real
to hold on to. They try to find it in drugs, alcohol, sex,
entertainment, making money and buying things. But the emptiness remains.
We have that reality, but we don't share it with others. Why not?
Well, for many of us we just don't know how. This short series of
lessons is designed to be used with small groups to learn how to be an
effective witness. It involves a number of interactive exercises which
will help you practice your witnessing skills with others.
